The Meds ’72 Jack Milliken Bursary
Established by members of the Medicine Class of 1972 in recognition of their 25th reunion. The name of the bursary was amended on the occasion of their 30th reunion in memory of Jack Milliken, whose teaching and guidance inspired class members. Awarded on the basis of financial need to undergraduate students in any medical year within the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University, who are residents of Ontario.
The capital balance of the Meds ’72 Jack Milliken Bursary was $64,122 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 27th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds ’72 Jack Milliken Bursary has disbursed $47,665 to 28 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
