The Dean Bill Flanagan International Studies Award
From 2005 to 2019, Bill Flanagan served as Dean of the Queen’s University Faculty of Law, steering it through one of its greatest periods of change since the faculty was first established over 60 years ago. When he stepped down in 2019, he concluded the longest-serving term as Dean of any law school in Canada.
We are celebrating his decade-plus leadership of the law school by creating a $500,000 endowed fund that supports one of his most cherished causes: the internationalization of law. This endowment will support Queen’s Law students on the global stage, reflecting Dean Flanagan and the Faculty’s commitment to an international perspective in the study of law.
Please be sure to fill out the commemorative portion of the giving form entitled "Dedicate my gift". This will allow us to add your personal message to our page commemorating Bill’s time as Dean at Queen’s Law. Comments may be edited for length.
