Established to provide support to senior undergraduate students who are selected as mentors for first year students in Smith Engineering in the first year project course. Each mentor will supervise one project each term.

Science'44 Memorial Prize
Established by the class of Science '44 in memory of members who were killed in World War II. Awarded on the basis of extra-curricular student activities. Candidates must have passed all work of year.

Science '44 40th Year Entrance Bursary in Applied Science
Established by the class of Science '44 in memory of Clyde Lendrum, Sc. '44. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student entering the first year program in the Faculty of Applied Science.
