Richardson Stadium
Every Queen's student, alumni and Gaels fan has experienced the rush of the Tricolour pride and the spontaneous roar of the Oil Thigh cheer that comes after a victory. For almost a century, Richardson Stadium has been the literal and figurative rallying point for Queen's students, alumni, family and friends.
Building on Queen's existing tradition on excellence, the revitalized Richardson Stadium is one of the finest outdoor turf stadiums in the country; the largest between Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. As the proud home of the Gaels, the stadium along with the pavilion will provide the space and amenities required to enhance student-athlete and spectator experiences.
The revitalization of Richardson Stadium is not just the building of a new stadium and pavilion; it's the fostering of Gaels pride, spirit and tradition, and the building of a strong university overall.
Now is the time for the entire Gaels family to rally behind this transformational project and ensure that all Queen's students have the same opportunity to embrace the power of Queen's spirit and make their own lasting memories.
