The Joanne Page Lecture Fund

Donate to The Joanne Page Lecture Fund

Established as an independent endowed fund in 2015 in memory of Kingston writer Joanne Page, the Joanne Page Lectures Fund supports the costs associated with bringing distinguished Canadian writers to Queen's University to deliver an annual lecture in the Fall term. The idea of hosting an annual named lecture in Creative Writing was the brainchild of Writer in Residence Phil Hall, who delivered the first Page Lecture in 2012. Since then Queen’s English has hosted Erin Moure (2013), Stan Dragland (2014), and Elizabeth Hay (2015). The proceeds from this endowed fund will be used to cover expenses related to the lecture or event, honoraria and/or speaker fees.
