Financial support for Nursing Graduate Students
The School's two PhD programs and three master's programs provide opportunities for Registered Nurses to develop research (PhD; MNSc thesis stream), health quality (MScHQ), and advance clinical (MNSc course-based stream; MN/PHCNP) expertise. Graduates of our programs have the professional skills to promote excellence in practice and the research know-how to lead projects that result in improvements to healthcare.
Recruiting and retaining top graduate students is a high priority for the School of Nursing, and we recognize the decision to pursue graduate studies is not always easy. Often applicants’ financial considerations present a barrier to pursuing an advanced degree.
The Alumni Scholarship for Nursing Graduate Students was established by Queen's Nursing Alumni and is awarded based on academic merit to a student entering their first or second year of any graduate programs in the School of Nursing.
