The Meds '58 Bursary
Established in April 2004 by members of the Class of Medicine 1958 in recognition of their 45th reunion and as a memorial to the loss of class members and family. Awarded on the basis of financial need to undergraduate students in any medical year in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University.
The capital balance of the Meds '58 Bursary was $146,827 as of April 30, 2021. The capital balance was ranked 11th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds '58 Bursary has disbursed $83,430 to 22 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
