The Meds '55 Bursary
The Meds ’55 Bursary was established by members of the Class of Medicine 1955 to mark the occasion of their 50th reunion. The bursary is awarded on the basis of financial need to undergraduate medical students in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The capital balance of the Meds '55 Bursary was $100,396 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 14th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds '55 Bursary has disbursed $54,695 to 17 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
