The Meds 1989 Bursary
The Meds 1989 Bursary was established in April 2014 by the Class of Medicine 1989 in recognition of their 15th and 20th reunions and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The capital balance of the Meds 1989 Bursary was $37,257 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 31 out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds 1989 Bursary has disbursed $18,090 to 15 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
