The Meds '59 Bursary
Established in October 2010 by members of the Class of Medicine 1959 in recognition of their 50th reunion. The Bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any year of the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The capital balance of the Meds ‘59 Bursary was $65,559 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 25th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds ‘59 Bursary has disbursed $34,180 to 12 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
