The Queen’s Law Class of 2004 is honoured to support the Donald Stuart Criminal & Evidence Law Fund, which celebrates the extraordinary legacy of Professor Don Stuart. After more than 50 years of teaching, scholarship, mentorship, and leadership at Queen’s Law, Professor Stuart’s impact continues through this fund, which strengthens criminal and evidence law education by supporting teaching and lecturing, course development, student support, and visits by leading practitioners and members of the judiciary.
Currently, Queen’s Law offers one course in Criminal Law, and demand regularly exceeds available spaces. With a generous lead gift of $300,000 toward a $600,000 goal, support for this fund will expand student access to this critical area of study and, if the goal is reached by April 2026, enable the creation of a five-year Professorship in Criminal and Evidence Law, ensuring continued excellence in teaching and learning.
