Our class has established the Applied Science ’99 Bursary, which is awarded to a full-time second, third or fourth year student in Smith Engineering. The bursary is awarded based on financial need and involvement in extracurricular activities. As of last year, we had supported over 17 students and our fund had distributed almost $15,000. This funding provides important support for students. Bursaries, like ours, often help to make education accessible for students and improve their university experience.
As a class, we have collectively contributed $60,684 to Smith Engineering and $104,290 to Queen’s. Currently, our class fund has a balance of $21,134. Help us raise $18,866 before our 20th reunion, and build our class fund to $40,000, which will allow us to grow our class legacy and support even more students.
