In Memory of April Gougeon, Law ’12, and Her Son, Oliver

The Queen’s Law Class of 2012 is deeply saddened by the passing of our cherished classmate, April Gougeon, and her son, Oliver, who tragically passed away together on December 29, 2023. April’s dedication as a lawyer, her compassion for others, and her commitment to family were qualities we admired in her, and Oliver’s kind spirit reflected his mother’s gentle nature.

In honour of April and Oliver, we invite you to support the Queen’s Faculty of Law Bursary, which provides critical financial assistance to law students, ensuring that they can pursue their education regardless of financial barriers. This bursary aligns with April’s values of community and generosity, allowing us to celebrate her legacy by helping future generations of Queen’s Law students.
