The Bell Canada Mental Health and Anti-Stigma Chair has increased awareness, conducted research, and supported efforts to improve mental health and reduce stigma throughout Canada and around the world.

On an annual basis, the Bell Chair contributes to the scholarly scientific literature on mental health and anti-stigma research; leads and collaborates on intervention projects designed to create better practices in stigma reduction; engages in knowledge translation and community outreach and partnering to apply best practices in anti-stigma interventions; and expands the capacity in mental health and anti-stigma research by supervising and mentoring students and other trainees.
