Queen's Journal
The Journal, now in its 150th annual volume, is Queen’s premier student-run publication. We’ve been the voice of the Queen’s student community since 1873, covering the news, sports, arts, and pop culture that matters to those on campus.
Unfortunately, The Journal is no exception to the financial challenges facing the broader print media industry. Staying afloat in recent years has necessitated drastic reductions in our print output and a shift further towards digital content. Alumni donations help us stay afloat and continue paying our employees for their hard work. Furthermore, since the University does not have a formal journalism program, The Journal remains invaluable as the place for aspiring journalists at Queen’s to develop their skills alongside like-minded people.
