The Meds 1987 Bursary
The Meds 1987 Bursary was established in April 2014 by the Class of Medicine 1987 following their 25th reunion in 2012. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any year of the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The capital balance of the Meds 1987 Bursary was $94,893 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 16th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds 1987 Bursary has disbursed $17,900 to 6 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
