The Meds'68 Andrew and Margaret Bruce Bursary
Established in February 1997 by members of the Class of Medicine 1968 on the occasion of their 30th reunion and re-named in October 2018 in honour of Dr. Andrew Bruce, honorary class president, and his wife Mrs. Margaret Bruce. The Bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any medical year in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University.
The capital balance of the Meds'68 Andrew and Margaret Bruce Bursary was $186,481 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 7th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds'68 Andrew and Margaret Bruce Bursary has disbursed $132,900 to 46 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
