The Meds 1961 Jack and Beryl Kerr Bursary

The Bursary Fund was established by the class of Meds’61 in honour of Jack and Beryl Kerr, Honorary Class Presidents. The bursary is awarded on the basis of financial need to students in any medical year in the School of Medicine.

The capital balance was $148,550 as of April 30, 2020. The capital balance was ranked 10th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Since its inception, the bursary has disbursed over $76,675 to 22 students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
