The Meds 1961 Jack and Beryl Kerr Bursary

Established in October 2003 by the Class of Medicine 1961 on the occasion of their 40th reunion and in honour of Jack and Beryl Kerr, Honorary Class Presidents. The Meds'61 Bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any medical year within the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University

The capital balance was $150,161 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 10th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Since its inception, the bursary has disbursed $92,875 to 24 students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
