The Meds '53 Bursary
The Meds ’53 Bursary was established in January 2003 by members of the Class of Medicine 1953 to mark the occasion of their 50th reunion. The bursary is awarded on the basis of financial need to students in any medical year in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The capital balance of the Meds '53 Bursary was $154,386 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 9th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Since its inception, the Meds '53 Bursary has disbursed $102,775 to 21 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
