The Queen's Economics Department has a number of endowed andexpendable funds that collectively play an extremely important role inmaintaining the quality of our undergraduate and graduate programs. Many ofthem, like the Doug Purvis Professorship and the new Alan Green Memorial Fundcommemorate former faculty members and have specific goals. Others, such as theEconomics Trust, are more general in nature.
