the Faculty of Education Indigenous Initiatives Fund
the Faculty of Education Aboriginal Initiatives Fund will be used at the discretion of the Dean of the Faculty of Education for the design and innovation of Aboriginal teaching and learning programs in the Faculty of Education
Aboriginal Teacher Practicum Award
Established by Nancy Gray, BA'77, and William Gray. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in the Diploma or Bachelor of Education programs pursuing a practicum placement within a First Nations or provincial school.
the Walter Light Graduate Fellowships in Education
Established by gifts from Walter F Light, Sc'49, LL.D'81, and by gifts made in his memory. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need to full-time students in graduate programs offered by the Faculty of Education.
the Rosa Baier and Luis Bruno Fund
Established in December 2008 by Rosa Bruno-Jofre, Dean of Education in memory of her mother Rosa Baier and father Luis Bruno to support initiatives of graduate students at the Faculty of Education.
the Clair Bailey Award for Language and Literacy
Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students in the primary/junior division graduating with a Bachelor of Education degree, who have demonstrated personal insight and a passion for children's literacy and learning.

Awarded on the basis of need, academic achievement, and extra-curricular activities to graduates of Ridgeway and Crystal Beach High School or high schools in New Brunswick Anglophone South School District who are entering first year undergrad.

Established to support operations and promotional activities for the Sistema Kingston program in the Queen's Community Music, including but not limited to marketing and recruitment initiatives, salaries, travel expenses, program support and equipment.

Established by Robert Burge on his retirement as a Trustee at Queen's University. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in the Bachelor of Education year of a Concurrent Education program in the Faculty of Education.
the Karey Jean Duggan (Oliphant) Memorial Bursary
Established in memory of Karey Jean Duggan (nee Oliphant), BA/BSc(Eng)'95. Awarded on the basis of financial need to women students with one or more children returning after a period of two or more years to University education.

Established by corporations, foundations, alumni, to provide opportunities for students, faculty and staff to put education research and knowledge into practice benefiting the public. Funds will be used at the discretion of the Dean, Faculty of Education.
the Charles Martyn Elliott and Kathleen Mead Elliott Award for Travel Fellowships in Education
Established in memory of Charles Martyn Elliott (Arts '44) and Kathleen Mead Elliott (Arts '42). Awarded to Queen's Education faculty members for study outside Canada related to teacher education and to academic visitors from outside Canada.

the Elliott Award for Travel
Established in memory of Charles Martyn Elliott (Arts '44) and Kathleen Mead Elliott (Arts '42). Awarded to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education for study outside Canada in the field of teacher education.
the Hajee Family Award for Travel Fellowships in Education
Established by the Hajee Family and awarded to funding eligible undergraduate or graduate students in the Faculty of Education pursuing a three-week alternative practicum or research/development project in Africa.
the H'art School Inclusive Post-secondary Initiative Fund
Established to support the employment of a student liaison officer, who will help students who have an intellectual disability to find appropriate classes to attend at Queen's University in a variety of Faculties and Schools across campus.
the Walter F Light Bursaries for Graduate Students
Established by Walter F. Light, Sc'49, LLD'81. Awarded on the basis of financial need to full-time students in graduate programs offered by the Faculty of Education.
the D E Loney Scholarship
Established in honour of Professor D.E. Loney. Awarded to the graduating Technological Education student who has shown the most outstanding qualities of character and scholarship and demonstrated potential as a teacher.
the MacClement Fund for Excellence
Established in memory of William T. MacClement, B.A. 1888, M.A. 1889, LLD 1937 (Honorary), to support an annual lecture series in the Faculty of Education.

Established in honour of former professor Wally Mellor, B.A.'55 (Phys. Ed) to support workshops, guest speakers and the purchase of equipment that will contribute to student enrichment and healthy active living in the Faculty of Education.
the John R McCarthy Scholarship
Established by John R. McCarthy, BA'43, LLD'67. Awarded to a graduating student leader who has made a personal contribution to Queen's, shown fondness for sport, and who will attend the Faculty of Education in the fall immediately following graduation.
the Lisa Marie McDorman Memorial Award
Established in 2008 by Edward McDorman, B.Sc.(Eng.) 1957, and Elsie McDorman, B.Ed. 1973, in memory of daughter Lisa Marie McDorman, B.A. 1987. Awarded to full-time B.Ed. students on the basis of need, academic achievement, and community involvement.
the Mary L Balanchuk Concurrent Education Award
Established by Mary L. Balanchuk, B.A. 1949. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to a student entering the first year of the Concurrent Education program who was a resident of Northern Ontario.
the Bamji International Practicum Placement Award
Established by Perry and Annamaria Bamji. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to a final year Concurrent Education student, wishing to broaden his/her studies in the international environment through an alternative placement.
the Martin Schiralli Fellowship
Established by the estate of Martin Schiralli. Awarded annually on the basis of academic excellence to eligible graduate students with a preference given to doctoral students in Education.
the Faculty of Education Bursary
Established by alumni and friends of Education. Awarded to students on the basis of financial need who are enrolled in any year of study in a Concurrent or Consecutive Education program.
the Henry Jackson Family Bursary
Established from the estate of W. Henry (Harry) Jackson, BA'47. Awarded on the basis of need to undergraduate students registered in a Concurrent Education or Consecutive Education program. Prefernce to graduates of Kingston, Ontario secondary schools.
the Arthur Mandell Education Award
Established by the Education class of 1999 in memory of Arthur Mandell, B.A. 1965, LLB 1978. Awarded on the basis of financial need to students in the Faculty of Education.
the Donna B. Rediger Award
Established by the estate of Donna Rediger, B.A. 1960, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in the Masters of Education program in the Faculty of Education.
the Annual Thesis in Education Prize
Established by the Faculty of Educations' Graduate Studies and Research Committee in 1993, awarded for the most outstanding M.Ed. Thesis completed each year at the Faculty of Education.
the UNESCO Chair in Arts Education Fund
Donations will support the projects of the current UNESCO chair in Arts and Learning in the short term. The Faculty of Education has a long-term goal of creating an endowed UNESCO chair in Arts and Learning.
the John Deakin Buckley Walton Excellence in Student Teaching Award
Established by a bequest from the estate of John Deakin Buckley Walton. Awarded to the student graduating in the Intermediate-Secondary stream or Technological Education in the Faculty of Education who has demonstrated excellence in student teaching.
the Teaching Excellence Fund in Education
Established to support the pre-service program(s) of greatest need in the Faculty of Education.
the Technological Education Facility Renovation Fund
Donations will be used to purchase needed equipment and to assist in the renovation of the Technological Education Workshop Facility.
