Established by long-time rowing coach and enthusiast John Armitage, B. Sc. 1971, to help recruit and retain outstanding and dedicated leadership, which will support priority activities for the Queen's Rowing Team. John Armitage was the program’s Head Coach for over forty years and spent endless time developing rowing in Kingston.
This fund partially supports coaching leadership and ensures Queen’s Rowing has a committed leader to assist the team.
