About Fred Delaney

Fred Delaney, BCom '72 and Law '75, practiced law for 34 years in Gananoque. His passion for community service led him to serve as Gananoque’s mayor for three terms. Fred believed in the power of fellowship, teamwork, and looking out for one another. His philosophy, “you have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you”, guided his life.

The Last Pro Bono Award

The Fred Delaney’s Last Pro Bono Award is an opportunity to continue Fred’s legacy. It supports deserving students from the Gananoque / Kingston area entering their first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business or the J.D. program (or the combined J.D. degree program) in the Faculty of Law. By contributing to this fund, you empower students to reach their educational goals and make a positive impact on their communities.

Let’s all help continue this legacy of support! This is your opportunity to “Pay it Forward”.
