The Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining
Queen's Mining has seen unprecedented growth over the last few years. Critical, at this time, is our ability to improve the quality of the program, while, at the same time, keeping the close-knit environment the Department is known for.
Our alumni have traditionally been the catalyst for positive change and our best ambassadors to the world. Once again, we are asking for your support for field trips, guest lectures, industry outreach, student activities, scholarships, lab renovations, equipment upgrades and infrastructure development. Although you may target your contribution to any of the previous causes, currently we are seeking contributions to our general Trust Fund. Donations to the fund can be used to support any teaching and student related activity, at the discretion of the department, providing maximum flexibility for covering immediate needs.
