In Honour of Judith Brown
For four decades, Queen's has been an important part of Judith's life and vice versa. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in French, and taught at Queen's for several years. Prior to joining Advancement in 1993, Judith also worked at the Queen's Quarterly.
Most of her time in Advancement has been in leadership roles. Since 2008 she has served as Associate Vice-Principal (Advancement), in addition to her responsibilities as Executive Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving.
To commemorate Judith's retirement, we invite you to make a gift to the Judith Brown Bursary at the Ban Righ Centre. The Bursary is awarded to female students who have experienced an interruption in their formal education and who are registered in any Faculty or School.
This award was established in Judith's honour in 2013, by Drs. Alfred and Isabel Bader. Judith remains "deeply touched by the Baders' kindness, and grateful for the opportunity they have given me to help students in a way that I never could myself. Many of these women students are new to Canada, and their capacity to overcome challenges is inspiring."
Please join us in paying tribute to Judith's exemplary career at Queen's by making your gift to the Judith Brown Bursary today.
Be sure to fill out the commemorative portion of the form entitled "Dedicate a portion of my gift to Judith Brown." This will allow Queen's to notify Judith of your thoughtful donation to the Judith Brown Bursary.
