CICP-Queen's Initiative Fund
CICP – Queen’s Initiatives Fund
The CICP – Queen’s Initiatives Fund is a co-created partnership between the Centre for Indigenous Corporate Partnership (CICP) and Smith School of Business (through the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Social Impact – CEISI).
Your gift directly supports CICP’s Indigenous-led work to grow economic opportunity in Indigenous communities across Canada. Through structured, high-impact collaborations, CICP brings together community-identified priorities with skilled corporate partners who are ready to guide, learn, contribute, and build long-term relationships that:
- Advance Indigenous-led economic development and build capacity that stays in community
- Support community-drvien projects through secondments that work with local leadership, not in place of it
- Create leadership pathways that uplift Indigenous professionals and businesses
- Strengthen long-term relationships between Indigenous communities and corporate Canada
This fund also enables Queen’s to engage students, faculty, and partners in support of CICP’s mission through selective learning, research, and convening activities that reinforce Indigenous–corporate partnerships and advance reconciliation in practice.
About CICP
The Centre for Indigenous Corporate Partnership (CICP) is an Indigenous and allied-led non-profit initiative that builds meaningful, long-term relationships between Indigenous communities and corporate Canada.
CICP’s core work is to match skilled, pro-bono corporate professionals with Indigenous communities on priority projects of all kinds. These secondments are designed for mutual learning and long-term impact, supporting self-determined community goals while deepening corporate understanding and accountability.
