Family, friends, and colleagues are joining together in remembering Ray Calver, a husband, father, an extraordinary community member, and friend to many in Kingston and the surrounding area. Ray was a business visionary who created value for his clients and mentored new generations of talent. Ray was an inspiration to his entire clinical team throughout his diagnosis. 

The Calver family recognizes the importance of the ongoing work in basic and clinical research related to enhance outcomes and discover cures for brain tumours. Donations received in honour of Ray will go to the Department of Surgery in support of the Division of Neurosurgery where Dr. Cook and his team will support the development of a patient and family centred research program that will provide resources to patients and families undergoing treatment for brain tumours. This will include the development of a centralized clinical database that empowers patients to directly contribute to the research process and to funding novel research aimed directly at curing brain tumours. Together we will conquer brain cancer.
