The Norman Macintosh Fellowship in Accounting
Smith School of Business doctoral graduates have come together to recognize Professor Emeritus Norman B. Macintosh CA (BCom, Alberta; MBA, UWO; PhD, Goteborg) by establishing the Norman B. Macintosh Fellowship in Accounting. Professor Macintosh was among the world's most widely known and respected accounting scholars and was at the school of business from 1967 until 1998. Post-retirement, Norman continued to be an active researcher, mentor and colleague to many of us until he passed away in 2011.
The Norman Macintosh Memorial Fellowship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence to support eligible doctoral students in Accounting at the Smith School of Business.
