Queen’s University is proud to be the homebase for Garnet Families. Named after the garnet gemstone—symbolizing love, loyalty, protection, and safe return to family—Garnet Families is led by Professor Heidi Cramm, a researcher who understands this life firsthand. Through first-of-its-kind research, they’re driving real change in policies and programs to promote the mental health and wellbeing of these families.
