Geology’82
Bruce Evans had a passion for Geology and a love of exploration. From his humble beginnings in North Bay, where he commuted by airplane to pursue his education at Queen’s, to his vast experiences tramping through the bush in various corners of the world, Bruce was a true adventurer and a relentless seeker of knowledge.
In recognition of his legacy, the Class of Geology’82 established the Bruce T. Evans Memorial Geology Field Study Fund. This fund will support field study programming in Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen’s. It will ensure that future geology students have access to the same opportunities that kindled our own passion.
