Reunion: Celebrated our 30th anniversary at Queen’s Law at 60 Homecoming Weekend, September 8-10, 2017.
Class Fund: In support of the QL60 Campaign, our class gifts will be directed to the new Queen’s Faculty of Law Bursary Fund awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of the J.D. or combined J.D. program.
Law’87 has been extended a unique opportunity to double any contributions made by May 2018 to the QL60 campaign in support of student bursary programs by an anonymous classmate who has generously offered up to $30K in matching funds.
Class Goal: To commemorate our 30th reunion, our inaugural fundraising campaign was launched to raise $60K for student bursaries, including $30K in matching funds. With the depletion of Government funding and the rising cost of tuition and living expenses, ensuring that quality legal education remains within reach of promising young adults regardless of their individual financial background is increasingly important.
