As our 40th reunion approaches, this special event provides an opportunity to reflect on our careers since graduation.
We learned our Nursing skills at Queen's School of Nursing, and over the years we have developed and honed those skills so we could use those tools as effectively as possible in our practice.
Not only did we advocate for our patients, but we also promoted healthier lifestyles to people at various ages and stages, and to others, offered empathy and support to patients in pain and families experiencing other crises – all contributing our individual mark in the sphere of healthcare.
Today, it’s our opportunity to create a symbol of both our collective nursing efforts with individual patients, and also the overall health status in our communities. We also direct our focus on this 'generation of nurses' from first to fourth years and the many challenges that are facing them today and after their graduation.
At this time, we pass the torch of nurses' caring to today’s Nursing students, and to those of the future.
Today, you can make your mark by donating to the Nursing Science`77 bench or tree. Please give today.
