Last Reunion: We celebrated our 55th anniversary at Homecoming Weekend on October 14 – 16, 2016.
Fund: The Res Ipsa Loquitur Bursary
Purpose: The Res Ipsa Loquitur Bursary was established in October 2002 by Professor Jim MacIntyre, a Queen’s faculty member from 1959 to 1964, to honour the remembrance of the Res Ipsa Loquitur Boarding House which played a significant role in the lives of many law students and faculty members during the 1960’s. The bursary is awarded on the basis of financial need to students in any year of the Faculty of Law.
Class Goal: Please consider making a gift to commemorate our 60th reunion. The bursary currently has a capital value of $21,069 and disburses $900 annually to a deserving law student.
With law school tuition now exceeding $18,000 per year, financial aid is more important than ever.
We want to help ensure that no qualified student is unable to attend Queen’s Law because of financial restraints. Donations of all sizes are welcome.
