Smith Engineering has a rich legacy of producing world-class engineers and technologists who have made significant contributions to industry and society. However, we must recognize the fact that the landscape of engineering education and practice is rapidly changing, and our faculty needs to adapt and evolve accordingly.
We have heard from our younger Engineering alumni that the opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities like student teams and clubs were just as important as your academics at Queen's. In recognition of these important out-of-classroom experiences, QYEA has established Queen's Young Engineering Fund with the purpose of providing discretionary funding to the Dean to support student initiatives that strengthen the student experience in Smith Engineering.
As you look for ways to stay connected to your Queen's experience, we invite you to support the next group of students to have access to these important experiential learning opportunities.
