The Library’s rich and deep collections are central to the academic enterprise and amongst the very best in the country. Students and faculty place a high priority on the resources we provide to support their learning, teaching and research. From a collection of six volumes, now housed in Special Collections, our physical holdings have grown to include over 2.2 million items.
The Library also provides access to a broad array of digital resources.

The digital revolution has enabled us to bring the world to Queen's providing access to a host of resources that in the past could only be consulted by travelling to other of the world's great libraries. Many donors choose to support the acquisition of scholarly materials and in doing so inspire current and future generations of scholars to new heights of discovery.
Numerous requested digital resources remain beyond our present means and range from the Institution of Civil Engineers E-books to the Indigenous People: North America primary source collection to streaming videos in Digital Theatre Plus.
