The Science 1964 Equipment Fund was created to provide the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science with discretionary financial support for equipment needs in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Recently, our fund distributed just over $14,000 to support the purchase of a 3D printer in Beamish Munro Hall, which can be used by any student project that requires a prototype. This printer helps to facilitate important experiential learning opportunities for these students and provides invaluable project support.

As a class, we have contributed approximately $3,439,322 to the Faculty of Engineering and approximately $4,073,211 to Queen’s. Collectively, our giving has an impressive impact on the university and, most importantly, on the students who benefit from the equipment provided by our fund.

Our current fund balance is $327,071. Help us build our legacy and donate in honour of our 55th reunion. Let’s attempt to raise $25,000 by December 2019.
