Established to provide financial support to an individual who wishes to develop special expertise in the diagnosis and management of interstitial lung diseases in the Interstitial Lung Disease Fellowship Program.
the Dean Barry Smith Bursary
Established by the Aesculapian Society, friends and colleagues in honour of Dean Barry Smith, Meds '69. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student in the School of Medicine, with preference to a First Nations student.

Supports the Common Sense Oncology movement, advocating for patient-centered and equitable cancer care. This transformative movement strives to improve patient outcomes, reduce inequities in care, and ensure cancer care is driven by patient well-being
