PHE’78 is raising funds for, and awareness of The Mark Howard Pentland Memorial Award as part of their 45th Reunion plan. The award was established by family and friends in memory of Mark, whose premature death cut short a great potential for service to humanity. The award is granted on the basis of financial need to students in the second, third or fourth year in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies. Mark was an important part of the class, a great friend and a great leader. Every member of the class has positive stories they could share about the time they spent with Mark. We encourage our classmates to join us in contributing to this fund created in Mark’s name.
