Welcome to the Queen’s Economic Affairs Society giving page!

The Economic Affairs Society is an organization that focuses on creating a vibrant community for students who are interested in economics. Throughout the academic year, the Society’s 25 executives help achieve this goal by connecting students to innovative Canadian companies at our annual conferences, as well as inviting alumni guest speakers to attend the Society’s ongoing speaker series.

Currently the Society has two annual conferences, Economics in the Digital Age, and Queen’s Women in Economics. These conferences fall under the Queen’s Economic Forum – a platform designed to showcase economic trends across the globe. These conferences are designed to provide students a dynamic learning experience that showcases global trends in various industries and markets. Through attending keynote speeches, workshops and case competitions, students are given the opportunity to network and learn about some of the most successful companies in the country.

Our ongoing alumni lecture series is called the Queen’s Economic Speaker Summit – a platform designed to give students an opportunity to learn from alumni as they share their career experiences. We have been fortunate enough to be receiving support and interest from accomplished alumni interested in giving back with more than just financial support. By expressing interest in being a guest speaker your career advice and industry insights can inspire upcoming graduates on their own journeys to building a successful career.

Please make your gift to the Queen’s Economic Affairs Society today. With your support, we will create new, dynamic learning opportunities for students who are passionate about economics and ready to learn more.
