Established by the Dean through the support of alumni, friends and staff of Queen's University. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of any degree program in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
the Science '48 S. N. Graham Award
Established by the class of Science '48 in honour of Professor S.N. Graham. Awarded on the completion of the 2nd year to a student in Smith Engineering with a sound academic record who has outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities on campus.
the Robert Hall Memorial Award
Founded by the class of Science '86 and Mining Club in memory of Robert Hall. Awarded on the basis of interest in the Engineering Society and participation in intramural or intercollegiate sports.
the Science 1994 Legacy Fund
Established in January 2008 by the class of Science 1994 to provide the Dean of Smith Engineering discretionary financial support for various present and future needs.
the Science 1982 Award in Applied Science
Established by the class of Science 1982, and awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in any year or program of study in Smith Engineering.
the Science '44 Memorial Prize
Established by the class of Science '44 in memory of members who were killed in World War II. Awarded to Smith Engineering students on the basis of extra-curricular student activities. Candidates must have passed all work of year.
the John Valerio Memorial Award
Established in memory of John Valerio, BSc 2008. Awarded on the basis of need, academic achievement, and involvement in extra-curricular activities to students in Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
