Funds provide undergraduate students the opportunity to design and build a concrete toboggan, travel the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) or conferences, and participate in educational outreach activities.
the Gerald Saunders Award for Design Innovation
To support the establishment of a graduate award in honour of Gerald Saunders for his dedication and service. Should the funding minimum not be raised, your donation will be directed Mechanical and Materials Engineering Trust in Smith Engineering.
the Science '54 Bursary
Established by the members of Science '54 and given in appreciation of the effort of Fred Siemonsen, Science '54, and his wife, Mary Lou Siemonsen. Awarded to a student in Smith Engineering on the basis of financial need.
the Science 1961 Admission Bursary
Established by the Class of Science 1961 and awarded on the basis of financial need to students entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering.
the Science 1965 Admission Award
Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students entering first-year of a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Smith Engineering. The award is renewable for three subsequent years.
the Science 1947 Admission Bursary
Established by the Class of Science 1947 and awarded on the basis of financial need to students entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering.
the Science 1968 Admission Bursary in Applied Science
Established by the Class of Science '68 and awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students entering the first year program in Smith Engineering.
the Science 1946 Memorial Entrance Award in Applied Science
Established by the Class of Science 1946 and awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to a student entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering.
the Science '85 Leadership Fund
Science '85 is fundraising to create a fund to support Smith Engineering students in gaining leadership education, experience and opportunities. Should funding minimums not be reached gifts will be moved to the Smith Engineering Dean's Excellence Fund.
