Established by the Class of Science 1997. Awarded on the basis of financial need, extra-curricular activities or community service, to upper year students enrolled in Smith Engineering.
the Stephen J.R. Smith Chair in Economic Policy
Established by Stephen J.R. Smith, B.Sc.(Eng.) 1972, M.Sc.(Econ)., to enable the Department of Economics to appoint a distinguished economist whose research and teaching focus on economic policy.
the Shirley Simpson Memorial Bursary
Established in memory of Shirley Simpson. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to a student in any year in any undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to a part-time student.
the Val Hanbidge Keast Memorial Scholarship
Established by relatives and friends of Val Hanbridge Keast who graduated with a BA degree from Queen's University in 1976. Awarded to the St. Andrews Exchange Scholar from Queen's to assist with the costs of travel in countries other than Canada.
