Established in memory of Al Downe by his family, students, community and also by Patricia Romans, for the purpose of bringing in high profile lecturers to campus to speak on biology related topics.
the O'Connor Family Faculty Award Fund
Established by Michael O'Connor, BSc 1968, to create awards to complement existing or new faculty recognition awards presented by Smith Engineering.
the Project Green Tree Fund
Established in 1980 by Project Green to be used for the purchase of trees for Queen's University. Such trees may be used in landscaping or to replace moribund trees. Only the purchase cost of trees may be met by this fund.
the Mining Engineering Alumni Fund
Established by alumni to provide the Head of the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining in Smith Engineering with discretionary financial support for the various goals and objectives of the present and future needs of the department.
