Established by members of the Queen's Young Engineering Alumni Toronto GPA Society to provide discretionary support to the Dean, Smith Engineering, for Smith Engineering priority initiatives.
the Science '44 Memorial Prize
Established by the class of Science '44 in memory of members who were killed in World War II. Awarded to Smith Engineering students on the basis of extra-curricular student activities. Candidates must have passed all work of year.
the John Valerio Memorial Award
Established in memory of John Valerio, BSc 2008. Awarded on the basis of need, academic achievement, and involvement in extra-curricular activities to students in Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
the Science 1971 Bursary
Established by the Class of Science 1971 and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students entering first year of a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Smith Engineering.
the Science 1991 Admission Award
Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic achievement, and involvement in community service or volunteer activities to students entering first year of an undergraduate degree program in Smith Engineering.
the Science 2003 ThankQ Bursary
Established by members of the Class of Science 2003 and awarded on the basis of financial need to fourth year students in Smith Engineering.
the Science '44 40th Year Entrance Bursary in Applied Science
Established by the class of Science '44 in memory of Clyde Lendrum, Sc. '44. Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student entering the first year program in Smith Engineering.
